World Book Day 2018
As part of our celebrations for World Book Day 2018, we welcomed Dave Cousins back to Beaumont on Friday 2nd March. Dave’s books are described as ‘teen realism with action, humour and heart’. He talked to our Year 7 students about his books and the inspiration and process behind his writing. His workshop also focused on showing the students that “we all have a story to tell”. The session fulfilled its promise of being highly entertaining as Dave’s author events have been likened to ‘stand-up…with books’!
