Women in Engineering Day

Students in Years 8 and 9 marked Women in Engineering Day, 2019, with a activity lead by Dr Jones and a guest structural engineer, Helen Page, from Price & Myers. They were set a task to construct a bridge (made from spaghetti linked by mini-marshmallows!) to span a minimum distance of 24cm, with prizes being awarded for the most successful designs.
