Beaumont School Celebrates Outstanding 2026 Exam Achievements
Our students who gained their GCSE, A Level and other qualifications in 2026 did themselves proud and more than lived up to the high standards set by previous Beaumont cohorts. Their success is a just reward for all their hard work and sets them up to reach even greater heights as they take their next steps.
Key Stage Five (A Level and equivalent)
Our Sixth Formers’ results speak for themselves, with an average A Level outcome of B, over two thirds of results at A*-B and nearly 100 outright A* grades. Around half of our UCAS applicants have won places at Russell Group universities, including Oxbridge, with many more success stories as a reward for our students’ hard work and determination. Whether they choose a traditional degree, an apprenticeship or a different route, we wish our leavers the very best in their ongoing education and future careers. We look forward to hearing from them about all the wonderful experiences and positive impact they have.
Headteacher, Martin Atkinson, congratulated jubilant students and staff who are celebrating another year of exceptional A Level examination results for Beaumont. ‘It’s particularly rewarding that so many students have reached or surpassed their aspirations, with an outstanding number of top exam grades achieved across our very broad curriculum offer.’ A total of nine students achieved a clean sweep of A* grades. ‘I am incredibly proud of all our students and their achievements, whichever pathway they have followed, and I wish them every success for their next steps. They have been a real credit to Beaumont.’
Key Stage Four (GCSE and equivalent)
2026 was a record-breaking year for Beaumont students at GCSE. They achieved the best ever Attainment 8 score in the school’s history in an unadjusted year of exams and the highest ever percentage of grades 9-7, amounting to nearly half of all results. We are delighted that so many of our year group are returning to continue their studies in our Sixth Form, alongside all the newcomers who we welcome to the school community. We look forward to further success for them at Key Stage Five.
