Refurbishment update

Visitors to the school in recent weeks will have noticed the scaffolding surrounding the main building (B Block) and Technology (D Block). As a result of a successful bid to the central government Condition Improvement Fund, the school has received £800k to repair the aging flat roof  covering Science and Technology as well as replace the gutters, drainpipes and windows on the main building. The latter fixtures date back to the opening of the school in 1938 and we hope that their replacements will serve Beaumont equally well and, in the case of the windows, dramatically cut our fuel bills and “Carbon Footprint”.
