Record-breaking success at ‘A’ level

Mr Atkinson, congratulated jubilant students and staff who are celebrating another year of record ‘A’ level examination results for Beaumont.  ‘It’s particularly rewarding that so many students have reached or surpassed their aspirations, with our highest ever number of top exam grades and a record average points score per student’.  Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Tolley, praised the hard work of this year’s cohort, who completed part of their studies through “blended learning”, and are the first to return to formal examinations after the two year hiatus.  ‘Many students achieved straight A or A* grades, earning them places at a wide range of prestigious universities on highly competitive courses; I am delighted that we can expect a record number of students studying Medicine and taking up places at Oxbridge universities this year’.
