Geography
Students are expected to spend 20-30 minutes completing Geography home learning each week. Home learning tasks will consist of a mixture of activities including the use of the quizzing platform Seneca, writing exam-style answers, reading, comprehension and the creation of knowledge organisers. These tasks are designed to enable students to practise good study habits, consolidate learning and embed knowledge in their long-term memory. The tasks also enable students to learn how to ‘revise’ and avoid a last minute approach.Key Stage 3
Students are expected to spend 45-60 minutes completing Geography home learning each week. Home learning tasks are designed to complement the Edexcel GCSE Geography B specification. Tasks will consist of a mixture of activities including the use of the quizzing platforms Carousel and Seneca, writing exam style answers, reading, comprehension and revision towards the end of each topic. The tasks are designed to enable students to consolidate their learning, embed knowledge into their long-term memory and develop good study habits.Key Stage 4
