Art & Design (including Photography)
Home learning will be set fortnightly and students will routinely spend 30 minutes on tasks linking to their current classwork. This will often involve the completion of sketchbook tasks, started in class. These tasks will range from the completion of drawing or design work, researching artists or completing written tasks to develop analytical writing skills and to deepen and extend students’ knowledge of artists and designers.Key Stage 3
Students are expected to spend 60 minutes completing tasks linking to their current projects. These tasks may involve completing sketchbook tasks, developing observational and design studies, researching and responding to artists and taking photographs to explore and inform their themed projects.Key Stage 4
