Outstanding ‘A’ level results

Jubilant students and staff are celebrating another year of outstanding ‘A’ level examination results. Mr Atkinson said: ‘It’s particularly rewarding that so many students have reached or surpassed their aspirations, in a year that has seen a national reduction in the number of higher grades awarded. Mrs Tolley, Head of Sixth Form, praised the hard work of this year’s cohort, who were sitting externally assessed exams for the first time, due to the pandemic. ‘Many students achieved straight A or A* grades, earning them places at a wide range of prestigious universities on highly competitive courses. I am delighted that we can expect a record number of students taking up places at Oxbridge universities this year. Whatever pathway our students now pursue, everyone at Beaumont wishes them all the very best’.
