Science
Students will routinely be set a weekly Carousel Learning quiz. The quiz will be a mixture of questions from the topic(s) they are currently learning and earlier topics. Students should spend 10-15 minutes reviewing their knowledge using the online flashcards before completing the quiz (approx. 10 minutes). These quizzes are to support students in developing a habit of retrieval practice to consolidate the core knowledge which underpins a good understanding of Science. On occasion, students may also be set practice questions from their booklets.

Some weeks students will also be set some written work to complete, usually in the form of a question sheet or practice exam questions. Such questions will provide students with the opportunity to practise applying their knowledge.Key Stage 4
