We are thrilled to announce that we have been re-accredited by the Arts Council as an Artsmark Platinum school. This is the highest grade that can be awarded and recognises the dedication of our staff and students to excellence in the Arts. Beaumont is proud to offer a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities alongside excellent exam results in all aspects of the Arts. The work of Mrs Wallace to build the Growing Minds project beyond Beaumont has had a positive impact on the wellbeing of young people through the Arts. The Artsmark assessors said the following in their feedback: “Well done on maintaining your vibrant, rich arts offer, for connecting it to the important aspect of wellbeing, and for filling a leadership role locally and regionally, sharing your experience and insights with others. Giving young people a sense of connectedness, belonging and authenticity through the arts seems to be helping them in a general sense with their learning and attitude to school more widely. It was wonderful to read of the responsibilities and additional leadership your young people are able to embrace through the arts and it is clear you are striving to put young people at the heart of theirPlatinum Arts Award
own learning experiences. Well done on your leadership as part of the Creative Communities conference at Trestle Arts Base, helping raise the profile of the Arts in your region. As part of the Growing Minds project showing your outward facing commitment to Arts provision in your community”
