Secondary Transfer Evening
Each year, in Autumn Term, Beaumont host an open evening for pupils in Years 5 and 6 and their parents.
The Secondary Transfer Evening, for entry September 2020, on Wednesday 2nd October.
The event runs from 5.45 p.m. to 8.45 p.m. and parents, with their children, are invited to tour the school with a Student Guide and talk to Beaumont students and their teachers in the various subject areas. The Headteacher, Mr Atkinson, will give a presentation at 6.00, 6.40, 7.20 and 8.00 p.m. and parents can collect tickets for one of these talks on arrival, along with a copy of the latest school prospectus. Members of the governing body and parents from the Beaumont School Association will also be available to talk to around the school site.
On arrival, you will receive a copy of this year’s school prospectus as well as a map to guide you around the school site.
If you are coming by car, please use school’s new entrance, off the Hatfield Road next to the Kingsbury Gardens housing development. There is no vehicular access onto the school site from Oakwood Drive.
Sat Nav users may find the post code AL4 0XG the best way to locate the new entrance within the new development, Kingsbury Gardens.
Pedestrians should enter via the school’s South entrance, off Oakwood Drive, or via the pathway alongside the access road off the Hatfield Road.
You can view a map of the school site to locate access and car parking here.
You are welcome to tour the school using the map provided on arrival or make use of one of our Student Guides who can be collected at one of three locations around the school site.
Parents wishing to view Beaumont during the school day may book a morning tour for the 4th, 7th or 8th of October at the open evening. They will be met by members of the school’s Leadership Team and given a tour of the school by Year 11 students. There will be an opportunity for discussion with senior staff at the end of the tour.
