Sixth Form Progression Policy

Sixth Form Progression Policy

The majority of courses followed in the Sixth Form are studied over two years; typically starting in Year 12 and being completed in Year 13. At the end of the first year of study, students will take, internally set, 'Threshold Exams' to ensure their suitability to progress to the second year of study. Grades achieved in these exams will be used in the process of determining Potential Grades for UCAS applications.

The policy for progression between the first and second year of Sixth Form study can be found here.
